Hey, I'm Maurice. I build things that make learning easier.

I'm a software engineer, product builder, and the person behind Pretty Scrum.

I started building my first digital products when I was 17. Since then, I've worked on everything from small side projects to enterprise software. One of my earlier projects, Langoosh, was a language-learning platform that reached nearly 70,000 learners in Germany.

What I've learned along the way is that good learning experiences shouldn't just deliver information. They should help people make progress.

Why I built Pretty Scrum

When I was preparing for my PSPO I certification, I noticed something frustrating.

Most practice tools kept asking me questions I already knew. The quizzes were repetitive, progress was difficult to measure, and studying often meant sitting through lengthy mock exams.

As someone who loves building products, I figured there had to be a better way.

So I built Pretty Scrum.

A smarter way to prepare

Pretty Scrum is built around a simple idea: Spend less time reviewing what you already know and more time learning what you don't.

With short practice sessions, instant explanations, and adaptive learning, I wanted to create the kind of tool I wished I'd had when preparing for my own certification.

It's completely free, because I believe useful learning tools should be accessible to everyone.

Built independently. Improved together.

Pretty Scrum is an independent project, and I'm continuously improving it based on feedback from people who actually use it.
