Mock Exam vs Study Mode

Study Mode You are still learning or fixing weak topics Instant explanations after every question Better understanding of the Scrum Guide
Mock Exam You want to test readiness under exam pressure Score and review after the session A realistic pass/fail signal

If you score below 85%, do not book the real exam yet. Go back to Study Mode, drill the weak topics, then run another mock.

How to use the mock exam

  1. Read the 2020 Scrum Guide at least twice.
  2. Take a few adaptive Study Mode sessions to find weak topics.
  3. Run the 80-question mock exam without notes or pausing.
  4. Review every wrong answer and re-read the matching Scrum Guide chapter.
  5. Book the real PSM 1 only after two timed mocks above 85%.

FAQ

Is this the official PSM 1 exam? No. Pretty Scrum is an independent prep tool and is not affiliated with Scrum.org. The official assessment is taken at Scrum.org.

Does this PSM mock test use real Scrum.org questions? No. The questions are original and based on the 2020 Scrum Guide. Copying official exam questions would be both unethical and bad preparation.

What score should I get before booking the real exam? Aim for at least two full timed mocks above 85% without notes. If you are scoring 82-84%, wait and fix weak topics first.

Should I start with the mock exam or practice test? Start with the practice test if you are still learning. Use the mock exam when you want a readiness check.
